Mina

Ich hoffe euch gefällt ihre Geschichte bisher.

Mina

It had rained the whole day and Mina was tired. Her backpack sat heavy on her shoulders and her feet scuffed more than they rose up. She was searching for shelter, but not even the forest provided protection as the rain pattered down through the patchy canopy of leaves and by now had drenched her to the bones.
In her dazed state she did not hear the lamenting and moaning in front of her until she saw a shadow between two tall oaks. Mina squinted her eyes and tried to detect something as she got closer, but her usually good sight was limited thanks to the rain and her tiredness. Only as she stood close to her did she see the old woman that fought with all her might against the branches that held fast her brushwood-basket. Mina carefully got closer to the thicket and put one of her hands on the trunk of one of the oaks.
“Easy now”, she nearly whispered and let her magic pour into the trunk.
With a little delay the tree seemed to relax his branches and released the basket from its grasp. The other tree followed suit. Luckily the hag had noticed Mina’s presence and had stopped pulling and tugging, otherwise she would have now sat on the muddy forest floor.
“Thanks”, she only said with a huff and squeezed back into the straps of her basket that had shifted.
Mina helped her again and received more thanks.
“My hut isn’t far from here. Come with me and warm up”, she suggested and Mina agreed with a nod.
She just wanted to get out of the rain.
In the hut the hag put the basked into a corner and started working on a fire. A little uncertain Mina put her backpack down as well, looking crestfallen in the spacious room.
“Back there is a chest with blankets”, the hag called to her over her shoulder.
Mina took off her wet travelling coat and hung it over a chair before she went over to the mentioned chest to pick up a blanket. The lid was heavy, but she could still open it easily. She took out a blanket and wanted to wrap it around herself when the hag ordered from the fireplace: “Everything off!”
A little ashamed Mina nearly took off all her clothes behind the blanket. She didn’t want to be completely naked before the hag. The blanket wrapped around her she hung up her dropped clothes over other chairs that stood around the large dinner table. At last the hag got up and started to undress except for her underskirt and wrapped herself in a blanket, too. She had fastened her blanket with a coat buckle and was therefore able to move freely. She returned to the fire and put a small cauldron over it.
“Come closer”, she invited Mina and waved towards one of the chairs closer to the fire.
Cautiously, to not lose the blanket, she got closer. The warmth ran up her limbs right away.
“In a moment you will also get a nice, warm soup, then you won’t feel cold any more”, the hag explained as she threw a handful of herbs into the cauldron and stirred it.
“Tell me, sweetie, what does a Woodling-Mage do in this kind of weather without using a rain spell?” She asked after she had filled bowls and had given one to Mina.
Mina nearly choked on her soup, as she had expected, that the hag hadn’t noticed what she had done.
“I don’t know any rain spells, yet”, she explained meekly, after she had cleared her throat.
“I’m still searching for a teacher”, she added and looked at the hag in anticipation.
“Ah, sweetie, I can teach you about herbs and medical plants, but I can’t teach you anything about your gift”, the hag explained sadly.
“I’d already be grateful, if you could do that. Even though we learn a lot about plants and their uses, there is always something new to learn”, Mina requested with a glimmer in her eyes.
“Then I will do that, but I do have conditions”, the hag returned and continued after Mina nodded in agreement.
“You’ll help collect and process the herbs. You’ll come with me when I make house calls and you’ll help me keep the house clean. And you’ll call me Yagai and not Ma’am or such nonsense. Agreed?” She asked and put out her Hand towards Mina.
Mina took her hand without hesitation “Agreed”
“Good. And as your first task you’ll tell me your name”
“Mina”, she replied with small smile, she had completely forgotten to introduce herself.
“Nice to meet you, Mina. Welcome to my humble home”, Yagai greeted and waved her hand across the room.
Mina returned the welcome and was already excited of the things she’d learn.

Behind the Scenes

Mina’s story will continue behind the 8th door.
If you want to see what the others are doing in the meantime, go back to the 1st door and choose between Damian and Sasha.
I hope you enjoy the story so far.
The old herb woman isn’t called Yagai without a reason and those who have some experiences with Russian Fairy Tales will soon notice that her name is a modification of Baba Yaga, the witch that is striking trouble in a lot of them. The Fairy Tales with the Baba Yaga were always amoungst my favourites. Who doesn’t like a witch house on chicken legs? 😀
Speaking of legs: Mina’s crestfallen look is originally described as standing there like a droused poodle (begossener Pudel), but English seemingly doesn’t have such a metaphor…

Sasha

Sasha

The tourney had started well for Sasha.
On the first day the contest was held in swordplay and that was one of his strongest disciplines and it therefore wasn’t surprising that he removed one opponent after the other from the competition. A couple of times it’s been really close, but he still managed to regain the upper hand. In one fight, one of his opponents managed to knock his dull sword out of his hand. It flew a few paces and landed wiggling on the ground. When his opponent was just striking out for the final hit Sasha rolled to the side, hoicked his sword high above his body and used his momentum to push the other to the ground. As sign of his victory Sasha put the blade at his opponent’s throat and kicked his sword away. The crowd went wild and celebrated him, but he only dully registered it, due to his heart beating wildly in his chest and his blood booming in his ears.
One fight after the other he continued higher and higher towards top of the fighters and he soon belonged to the participants of the finale, which would be carried out on horseback in a joust.
Sasha nervously walked his tent up and down. As Stoneling he barely had any connection to horses. For transport in the mountains they used mules, donkeys or bulls, rarely horses as they weren’t suited for the stony and cliffy paths. Additionally did they only ride the beasts in emergencies and in their training they rarely even learned it. During his stay here Sasha had therefore sat on a horse for the very first time. The other warriors commented that he was a natural, but he felt more than queasy on the back of one of the beasts. On the eve of the tourney he had trained once more with his horse and he knew that the beast had absorbed his nervousness, even if it seemed that it tried to calm him down.
“Master, you’re the next”, one of the squires told him.
Sasha acknowledged the information with a nod and followed him outside, but not without running his fingers across the coat of arms on his surcoat once more to gain some courage and calmness from it. Before he mounted his horse he also stroked its neck.
“We can do this”, he tried convincing himself and the beast, then he lead it by the reins to the tourney field and mounted it.
A squire gave him a helmet and after taking one last deep breath, he put it on. Next a lance was given to him and at once he went on to the beginning of the battlefield. A wooden fence parted the two riding lanes and his opponent send him a last greeting before he closed his visor. Sasha did the same and waited tensely for the starting signal. The fanfares rang out and the riders spurred their horses and lowered their lances to push the other one from their horse. Sasha feared he’d fall right in his first battle, but he had overestimated his opponent. While Sasha’s thrust caught the other one in the chest and made him lose his balance, did he in turn only receive a blow against his shoulder. Sasha was able to catch himself swiftly, while the other one fell down in a flurry of lance splints. For a moment Sasha could not conceive what had just happened, all the greater was his joy when the crowd started cheering and the thought fastened. He had won! He didn’t fall from his horse in the first match!
Spurred from his victory he fought through several more opponents. He made good way but then his paths crossed with one of the warriors that had taught him about this way of fighting. It wasn’t easy but in the third try Sasha managed to unhorse him. But his next opponent already waited for him.
The warrior had come from outside of town and was one of the other favourites. In the first two rounds both of them barely managed to stay on their horses.
The last thrust went hard against Sasha’s chest and he hung more than he sat on his mount.
With a lot of effort he lifted himself up and accepted the lance to ride into the next round.
His hand shook and with it the weapon, but he didn’t want to give up, not this close to the finish.
But all his resolution was for naught.
The thrust of his opponent hit him hard in the middle of his chest.
The impact made him drop the reins and lose his balance.
The crowd held their breath as he laid on the ground, helpless like a turtle on its shell; the broken lance a few steps away from him. His horse stomped impatiently on the dusty ground before him.
He had failed.
Fast the squires came to him and helped him up, as the crowd had found their voices again and cheered for the winner. Sasha was led to his tent and dropped down onto one of the chairs.
He had failed.
He had disgraced his people.
In shame he covered his face with his hands as tears made their way from his eyes.

Damian

Damian

Since he was thrown out of the inn, Damian had been on his way for quite some time. By now his cheeks weren’t swollen any more, but instead his feet hurt from walking and his shoulders from carrying his backpack. He was tired, but he didn’t even know how far he still had to go to reach the next town. At the next opportunity he would take a break. Though he didn’t feel like doing that on the side of the road or rather in the middle of a forest.
It took him two more hours until the forest he had walked through cleared and opened to the view of vast lake. New energy flew into him and he ran the last meters towards the clear water. Close enough he simply dropped his backpack, got rid of his clothes and jumped into the lake.
The water cooled his tired limbs and he just let himself float for a moment.
After a while he came out of the water and took a blanket out of his backpack to dry himself a little and then plopped down onto the grass.
He yawned and stretched.
This was the part of his life that he liked.
He was unshackled and free.
No one stopped him from doing whatever it was, he wanted to do.
Nonetheless he secretly dreamed about some stability and the chance to stay longer in one place than being thrown out after a few days. He was sick of walking around aimlessly and hoped that the right opportunity would reveal itself one day.
Though, this way of thinking didn’t really matter as long as he wasn’t willing to swear off of his thieving lifestyle. It wasn’t as if he enjoyed doing it, taking from other people for his own gain, but he was just so damn good at it. A quick grab into a pocket of an inobservant passerby and his dinner was secured.
No useless drudgery and grinding.
When you had money, you didn’t need to care about such things. Of course he was caught from time to time, but mostly before he had found a fitting victim and couldn’t pay his bills and not while he was pilfering – he didn’t like calling it stealing – someone else’s belongings. In the last town the innkeeper simply had noticed that he couldn’t pay. Damian had waited for a few days to see if a merchant or well-heeled traveller would appear in town, but they didn’t come and he had to put off the innkeeper again and again until he had had enough and had forced Damian to work.
Scrubbing and doing the dishes, he shuddered just thinking about it, no, that were tasks he very well could do without. And if that meant continuing to live a life as a thief, then so be it.
A real home still would be great.
With this thought he drifted off into a dreamworld. He imagined his house and his life and calmness ran across his features. He had his hands crossed beneath his head on his backpack. The sun shone warming down on him and dried his skin.
Yes, this way he enjoyed dreaming of a better future.

Behind the Scenes

So you decided to follow Damian’s story, this one will continue behind the 6th door.

The lake was by the way inspired by a hike I was on with Nazgul when we walked from Altenstädt to Naumburg (near Kassel) where we passed the Hengstwiesen (Stallion-Meadows) and the lake belonging to it – though you are not allowed to swim in that lake as it is part of a nature sanctuary (Naturschutzgebiet). But it really is a very nice spot.

Mina

Mina

For a few days she’d now been on her way.
In the first few villages that Mina had passed, the people who lived there still knew her and knew about her journey. Some of them had encouraging words for her, others gave her additional provisions. She hadn’t used that much of it until now, as she was afraid to be without food far too soon. Only the perishable became her meal when she rested.
Thanks to her lifestyle as Woodling it took longer for her to get tired. After all she had to run down acres of forest to see if everything was fine and if necessary help the animals or plants. That was always a fun activity for Mina and therefore it was easy for her to cross the far distance to the next place.
When the night fell and she was in a village she allowed herself to stay in an inn. She always chose the cheapest room and meal, but as soon as she told someone, why she was on the move, she received a lot more than just that. Unfortunately did the people only hear that she was gifted and ignored that she was still looking for a teacher. Therefore they came to her and asked for help that she couldn’t give them, yet and were disappointed.
“The cheapest room? No, for a guest like you I have only the best!” The innkeeper decided when Mina had placed her order and had told him in a passing mention why she was travelling.
“That’s really all right! I only need the small room!” Mina tried to reason, but the innkeeper did not give her a choice and placed the keys in her hand.
She had barely settled down in the room when there already was a knock at her door.
“Come in?” She asked hesitantly.
Right away the door opened and the innkeeper entered the room.
“I was wondering, if you might be able to help me”, he revealed without further ado.
“With what?” Mina asked and sat down on the bed.
“You know, I have this old back ache…”, he started but Mina interrupted him: “I can suggest a few herbs, but nothing more!”
The innkeeper looked at her in irritation and Mina sighed.
“I am still in search of a teacher! I can’t control my gift, yet!” She tried to explain, but he still looked at her uncomprehending.
“I can’t help you!” She clarified her statement.
For a moment he simply stared at Mina, his face went from incomprehension, over disappointment up to actual frustration. With disapproval in his features he grunted, then turned around and left. Mina looked after him for a moment before she moved her attention to her backpack again.
The whole evening the innkeeper eyed her mistrustfully and Mina tried to avoid his gaze. She felt sorry that she couldn’t help him, but that was just how it was. Without control over her gift, she did not have a chance to do anything.
As she wanted to leave the next day his resentment was even more visible when he charged her to pay a bill much higher than the one they had agreed upon.
“I will not pay more than what we said yesterday. I wanted the small room. You gave me the keys to the larger one!” Mina complained and took out her purse.
Neatly she placed the coins on the counter and counted them precisely.
“You won’t get any more from me”, she told him authoritatively.
“That’s not enough!” The innkeeper complained.
Mina glowered at him, turned around and left. She did not want to continue this discussion. In the corner of her eye she saw that the innkeeper wanted to say something, but he didn’t. He did not dare to stop her, in fear she would use her gift.
That suited Mina just right.

Advent Calendar: Door/Türchen #1

Read in English

Mina

Damian

Mina

Yesterday there had been a huge feast, where all the people from the village came together to say their goodbyes to Mina.
There was eating, singing, dancing and most of all a lot of laughter. It had been a wonderful evening and not comparable to the sad atmosphere that now hung over the village.
Many tears were shed and it was especially hard for Mina’s mother to let her little girl go, but she had to.
Since she was little they had dreaded this day. Mina had a gift that no one else in the village had and to better understand it and especially learn to use it, she had to set forth to find a teacher.
This was how it has always been und this was how it always should be.
Woodlings with a gift very highly respected, but often also feared, but no one was afraid of Mina.
She had been a lovely child and if she had unintentionally used her gift then she had caused flowers to bloom when she was happy or to wilt when she was sad. By now she had enough control to let the flowers grow intentionally, but that was about everything she knew about her gift and that was why she needed a teacher.
In villages like hers, there was no one to teach her. Those who could usually lived in the larger cities as court sorcerers or advisors or scholars. If they took in any apprentices they only took a few and mostly the well-heeled.
Mina did not have high hopes that one of the grand ones would take her under his wings, she was only from a small, poor village after all.
Still, she wanted to try her luck and find a teacher that would show her how to control her gift.
She was excited about the experiences that she would have during her journey and the people she would meet along the way, but it was still hurtful to say farewell to her beloved friends.
In her mind she wanted to be strong, but when she saw her mother’s tears her eyes moistened up as well.
It was to no avail.
The two women cried holding each other in their arms.
“Take care my little one”, Mina’s mother sobbed and hugged her daughter close to her.
“You too, mother. When I get back I’ll tell you everything about my journey and my experiences and if I manage it, I’ll send you letters, I promise”, Mina assured her and hugged her just as tightly.
Her mother was the one that broke the embrace. One of her hands still resting on her daughter’s arm, but she stepped aside and wiped her eyes with an old linen cloth.
“Now off you go, before I change my mind and won’t let you leave!” She demanded teasingly from Mina.
Mina grinned and hugged her mother one last time.
“See you, Mama”, she whispered the nickname, she had last used when she was a little child.
“See you, my love”, her mother replied and kissed her on the forehead.
Finally Mina let go of her and went straightaway to the entrance of the village. Every now and again she turned around to wave once more, but never long enough to stand still.
The village was enclosed by a wooden fence that opened up into four archways in every point of the compass. Though the openings weren’t half-round, but consisted of a joist lying on two standing pillars. They still called it an archway, why Mina did not know, still she wondered why she was thinking about this now.
Shaking her head she stopped before the gate.
One more step and her journey would begin.
Once more she looked back and searched for her mother’s eyes amongst the men, women and children of the village. Finally she found her smiling proudly and waving with the cloth in her hand. Mina returned the gesture and turned around.
Once more she took a deep breath, then she stepped through the gate and the cries of rejoicing started.
“Have a good journey!” “All the best!” “Get back save!“, echoed behind her, but she did not dare to turn around again and stubbornly went on.
Tears streamed down her cheeks and her waving hand trembled.
There was no going back any more.
She was on her way and she would find a teacher.

Sasha

The castle loomed high above Sasha as he walked through the main gate onto the bridge that connected it with the rest of the town.
He had spent the last weeks in this place to learn new tricks in the human host. The local ruler had gladly taken him in as Stonelings were commonly known as highly skilled warriors.
Every Stoneling had to pass a test in their lives for which they had to go on a journey and fulfil several task for different people until they found their test amongst them, which then would raise them into adulthood. However, each warrior could choose their own tasks and therefore some of them were satisfied with mere errands, while others joined battles or armies, to gain fame and glory. Sasha was ambitious and wanted to find a huge test for himself, but he hadn’t had any luck so far. Even the position at the castle had not helped him.
He had learned some new skills for swordplay, but also for close combat and other weapons and this way his stay advanced him as a warrior, but to pass his test he felt out of place here.
On the following day a large tourney would take place and he had signed up for it. He didn’t see it as his test to prove his prowess; he still wanted to win and was even counted as favourite.
For the tourney he now had to pick up a banner that he had ordered, because every participant had to hold one that showed their status and birth.
Stonelings did not have such things therefore he simply had changed the crest of his village a little to fit him.
He could have sent a squire, but Sasha enjoyed walking through the streets and watching the people he passed. As Stoneling he was often recognized from afar as he was taller than most humans. Some looked up to him in awe, others hid from him. Word had gotten around that he was staying at the castle, but it was still unusual, when he walked through the town and was actually seen. On some days he cared if they stared at him, but today he didn’t. His mind was already at the tourney and he thought about, how he could do well. Most of the other fighters at the castle were certain that he would win; Sasha wasn’t so sure about it. In some disciplines they others had more experience than him and his natural talents for fighting would do him nothing good there. He had decided to train some more when he got back, but not too much, as he did not want to start exhausted into the tourney.
Finally he reached the clothier who was advising a couple of young women in front of his store in choosing the right fabrics. The women gave him a seductive smile; Sasha in turn hesitantly returned a polite one. It was difficult for him to interact with humans when they approached him like this. He did not have any interest in such things and it was hard for him to make them understand that, especially those that thought his shyness just made him more attractive. The clothier saved him from any advances of those two ladies when he noticed him.
“Ah! There you are!”, he greeted him joyfully and took Sasha’s hand to shake it.
Right after that he took Sasha by the shoulder and shoved him into the store. The clothier left Sasha in front of the counter and hurried past the huge wooden table into the storage. The warrior only had a short moment to look around before the other already returned, his arms full of fabric.
“There we are”, he exclaimed excited and spread everything neatly.
On the counter now lay beside the banner also a surcoat and cloak.
“I only ordered the banner”, Sasha noted and intently looked at the clothier.
“And only that you should pay for! I just couldn’t let our future champion compete without surcoat and cloak!”, the clothier rebuffed.
“Have my thanks, but I’m afraid you’re putting your hopes on the wrong warrior”, Sasha tried to avoid the compliment.
“Don’t be so modest! Word of your skills has already reached me! And now try it on, I want to see if it fits!”, he urged.
As he did not want to argue with the man Sasha did what he was asked to do. The cloth sat perfectly above the tourney amour that he had put on to get used to wearing it and the clothier was thrilled at his work. He tugged the cloth here and there into place and shoved Sasha in front of a mirror. Sasha was speechless. He felt like one of the knights, with whom he had trained.
On his chest shone Ferron, the highest mountain in the mountain chain that he called his home, with fine lines the sign of the Stonelings was stitched onto the body of the mountain. Just as fine were the rays of sunlight that he had wanted for himself, that emerged behind the mountain. The sunrise behind Ferron was one of his most beloved sights. Cautiously he ran his fingers across the embroidery and felt a pang of home sickness.
“I thank you. This is beyond words”, he told the clothier with a chocked voice.
He only grinned wider.
“Then the tourney can begin”, he agreed and patted Sasha on the shoulder.
‘Yeah, now the tourney can begin’, Sasha thought as well and a grin spread on his face.
His fear to fail had dissipated at the sight of his home on his surcoat. He felt like he could accomplish anything like this.

Damian

“Get lost you scallywag!”, the innkeeper yelled at him.
The man had grabbed Damian at the neck without warning, dragged him to the door and without him being able to resist had thrown him out. Dazzled Damian sat on the hard brick road and tried to recollect, what had even happened, as his pathetic backpack and those words were thrown at him.
A couple of days ago he had rented a room in the inn to stay a few days. Unfortunately the innkeeper had soon found out that he couldn’t pay his bill. Thereupon he had forced him to work off his debts.
He had to scrub the floors, later the pots and pans and everything under surveillance of the innkeeper or one of his workers, so that he would not think about bunking off.
They weren’t friendly towards him, but he wasn’t used to anything else as he had been in similar situations before.
It wasn’t as if he hadn’t had any money, but he usually lived above his station and tried to earn some additional income through some trickery.
Normal work wasn’t really his cup of tea, as he at times was quite clumsy. What usually was due to his mind already being far away thinking about his journey or how he would get out of a situation.
Thus it happened, as he was put to clean the dishes, that he had dropped one or the other plate, which then shattered on the ground. After the fifth plate the worker pulled him away from the sink and brought him to the innkeeper. He in turn had had enough and slapped him across the face one at a time, as the worker went to get Damian’s backpack.
With swollen cheeks he was then pushed onto the street.
And there he said now, dazzled and with scattered belongings.
Another “Get lost” and “You scare away my customers, hurry up and disappear!” came to him from the door.
Firmly Damian shook his head and moved on to push his small possessions back into his old backpack. It didn’t take him long until he could throw it over his shoulders.
Something pressed against his back, but he tried to ignore it for now, as he only wanted to get away from here before the innkeeper decided to further let out his anger at his face.
With a sigh he started walking. He actually had hoped to stay a bit longer, but from the look of it he had to continue on his way, as this was the only inn and his doings had probably already spread across the village.
Maybe the next town had more in store for him.

Do you want follow the Woodling-girl Mina, then look no further than door 2.
Do you want to find out if Damian comes across a new inn, then take a look at door 3.
Do you want to know how well Stoneling Sasha does in the tournament, then you unfortunately have to wait for door 4.
I hope you enjoy their story so far.

Advent Calendar Prequel

The first of Advent has passed and we are fast approaching Christmas itself.
What better way to count down to the „big day“ than by opening the doors of an Advent Calendar?
Now I can’t send you a piece of chocolate through the interwebs, but I still can give you a treat each day. 😉
Because – and you know this if you follow me on Twitter – I’ve been busy preparing

my very own Advent Calendar!

You might remember the one from last year, but the one this year will be a bit different.
Don’t get me wrong: I really like the stories I wrote for that one and it was fun to create them on the basis of a picture that was send to me. But I wanted to do/try something different and as DarkFairy and I picked up the idea for Your Picture – A Story (that you can still participate in if you like 😉 ) to write like that, I decided to do something else this time.

But what did I do?

I spent a couple of months thinking about what I wanted to do and at some point I ended up with this basic idea:

  • The Story follows three Characters
  • Each door is a Chapter for each Character
  • They are each on their own Journeys, looking for something
  • At the end – something I’m not going to tell you – should happen

With this I then drew up the twenty four numbers and drew circles, triangles and squares around them while trying to place them in order, so no Character would appear twice in a row.
Then it hit me: I had three Characters and twenty four days, which meant eight Chapters for each Character to go through their Journey.
But let’s be honest: Eight Chapters is a weird numbering.
So I re-drew the stuff and decided to add three days were there would be a Chapter for each Character, giving me two more Chapters to tell their Story. Of course through this the no-Character-appears-twice-in-a-row was pretty much annulled, but that’s okay.
The next step was then to create the Characters and see where their Journey would lead them and to be honest when I was about halfway finished, I did not think I’d meet the ending I had in mind.
But I knew some things about my characters:

  • One should be a Sorcerer
  • One a Warrior and
  • One should be something else
  • I wanted a Character that was one gender
  • I wanted one that was the other and
  • Then there should be the one that was neither

But I’ll talk a bit more about that later on, just let me tell you: Using a self-made gender-neutral pronoun can be quite tricky, but totally worth it.
I don’t really want to give too much away, regarding these three, as you should get to know them yourself, when the

Advent Calendar starts tomorrow.

But

how should you read it?

If you follow the principles of an Advent Calendar you’ll just read the story one door at a time, but you could read it with a twist.
As I said did I think up an order of appearance for the Characters, which means you can decide yourself whose Journey you want to follow. Though that means that you have to wait a couple of days until that part of the Story is picked up again. 😉
With each Chapter I’ll tell you when the Character will appear again, but you can also see it in the colour coding on the page for the complete Calendar (it’s explained there).
You just have to choose if you want to follow the Woodling Mina, the Stoneling Sasha or the human Damian. 😉

Long story short:

Every day the new door will open at 7:00 am UTC+1 and later on be linked in its respective door in the Advent Calendar.
You can receive a notification right away if you follow me here, on Facebook, Twitter or one of the other social media I’m at. Twitter and Facebook will also give you a chance to see my progress with the finishing touches on the Calendar (I still need to translate most of the Chapters into English…)
Well, I guess that’s about it.
Come back tomorrow and check out

Poison’s Advent Calendar!

See you around
